OK, racial butthurt aside, Lena Horne has got to be one of the least black-looking "black" celebrities ever, so I can sort of see it. But their faces are not really that much the same shape, and Sarah is not a great singer.

And I love Sarah and am wildly indifferent to Lena Horne. But SMG fans know, this is not in her wheelhouse.

2. I am a person of color.
3. I genuinely think her build and facial construct is close enough to play Ms. Horne (who is of mixed race anyway).
4. Not all biopics involving singers has the actor singing the songs of the original talent. Look at Selena, or The Temptations.
