lmao, I doubt anyone cares but spoilers for Drake and Josh

Sometimes, yes. (Unless it's all those characters do and there isn't even any humor in it.) On occasion those are even my favorites (because you get to see how well they manage without each other, how much they miss each other, etc).

It's a goofy example, but Drake and Josh did this in an episode and that episode is probably my favorite. (IIRC it's called 'Josh is Done'.) Drake had pissed Josh off beyond his limit and Josh (finally) steps up and says, "You know, I'm through with you. I don't want to be friends with you anymore." And the funny thing is as soon as he drops Drake, his life starts going so well. It's like he's had a curse lifted; he's happy, finds new friends, his rash clears up (lol), but Drake is absolutely miserable and has never been so out of sorts. It ends in Drake being shoved into a chemical shower at school, almost crying in front of his entire class whilst apologizing to Josh, and running off to sulk and be embarrassed. Josh DOES forgive him and they go back to normal, but it's kind of nice to see the 'cooler' character take the separation that much harder, and to see that even when you fuck up that doesn't mean you can't still be forgiven.

I've seen that episode. It was a good one. I was most impressed by how calm Josh was while Drake's world was falling apart.

IA, I found it interesting how well Josh took it. Josh obviously cares about Drake a great deal and so on some level he must've missed Drake too, but he moved on with his life and was enjoying himself. Drake was just completely devastated and barely seemed like the same person. Like Drake said, he DOES need Josh more than Josh needs him, but I think that's one of the reasons Josh forgave him; the fact that Drake cared so much made him come to the conclusion that any pain, misfortune or frustration that came from associating with Drake was worth it.
