How about.. they both can exist as separate forms of animation. One doesn't need to assimilate the other, or whatever. I hate this fucking argument. CGI is popular because it's still relatively new, and doesn't carry the 'for kids' stigma of traditional animation. That will wear off. This isn't cartoon Highlander. There can be more than one.

Agreed for the most part, but pretty much everything not live action has a for "kids label" and all the popular 3DCG movies have been marketed for a general audience.
