The spinoff hate.

It's fine if you legitimately don't like one or more of the YGO series and then leave it at that, but there are a whole lot of people who think that all series other than DM ruined everything just by existing and have never given them a shot, or who think that X and Y series are fine but anything after that is awful just for existing (and haven't given them a shot), or that Z series is great because at least it's not that awful other series (that they never gave a shot).

Of course, then those people get offended if you point out that the bashing and nostalgia goggles are annoying and tiring to hear about all the time.
