Uatu was murdered and his eyes stolen in the newest Marvel crossover event.


I wish I had hope for it. But I don't, because they haven't done a good event for a decade (I'm still sad that Fear Itself was less than awesome. Such a great premise.)

Well, for issues 3-5

I must admit I wanted to see a new fan from MCU get their first glimpse when Bucky decapitated Nick Fury and was holding his head at the end of issue 3, though lessened slightly by the fact that most people who know about 616 Nick Fury were immediately calling, correctly, that it was just a Life Model Decoy.

I actually did see some fans crying when that happened. They weren't MCU Bucky fans though they were longtime Nick Fury fans who were convinced that it was the real deal since there was blood. Even when other fans were trying to tell them that it was an LMD they weren't listening. They just kept going on and on about how Marvel was destroying Fury.

Well I've been hearing from people (read:/co/) that they think Marvel is trying to drive White Fury out to make room for his black son, Nick Fury Jr., but even they were calling LMD immediately and no one was really believing Bucky took out Nick Fury so easily.
