Yes, now repent to the secret gods by submitting five secrets.

I just put them on the hand wash cycle with a bit of woolite and then hang them to dry. I still wear them after the underwires breaks and I pull them out. They are much more comfortable.

I'm too lazy to hand-wash, but I will air-dry them, at least.

It just got caught in something and twisted. It sucks but it happens.

Re: FS

That's why i got one of those mesh wash bags, so it can't snag on anything

Exactly. They make them like specifically for bras. Never ever had a problem.

I just put them in a pillowcase. Seems to work well enough so far.

Re: FS

(Anonymous) 2014-07-05 10:02 pm (UTC)(link)
This. Or indeed a pillowcase.

Re: FS

(Anonymous) 2014-07-04 11:40 pm (UTC)(link)
I hand wash all of my bras. They last a lot longer that way.

What else do you expect from a cheap bra?

40 dollars is cheap? I bought some at Kohls for cheaper than that and they have lasted pretty damn well...especially the sports bra. Damn that sucker is so comfy.

LOL, I never paid more than 20 euro for a bra. Try again ;)

Maybe I'm just frugal but I don't see $40 as cheap. It's somewhat standard, isn't it? (For 'normal' sizes, anyway?)

Did you not use a mesh bag?

What have you done to anger the Underware Gods so much? That's just cruel.

Re: FS

Looks like it got hooked on something. Always a - hook all hooks together and b - put in a lingerie bag. That way even if it comes unhooked, it won't get tangled up in anything. Unless the hook is pulled out of the bra altogether, just bend it back down into place, it'll be fine.

Re: FS

(Anonymous) 2014-07-05 02:09 am (UTC)(link)
It happens, but fortunately it looks like you can just hammer that back into place.

Re: FS

(Anonymous) 2014-07-05 02:59 am (UTC)(link)
Oh man I'm sorry.

Re: FS

(Anonymous) 2014-07-05 03:26 am (UTC)(link)
In addition to the mesh bag as others above have suggested, I find it helps to have them hooked closed while washing.

Re: FS

(Anonymous) 2014-07-05 06:13 am (UTC)(link)
I've had that happen before when I washed bras on the regular setting, but I was usually able to fix it with pliers.

Now I wash my bras on the delicate setting and I haven't had any issues.

Re: FS

(Anonymous) 2014-07-05 09:26 am (UTC)(link)
Bit late, but you might see this - if you don't have a mesh bag, put them in a plain old pillowcase! I do this for mine, and put on a silk/handwash cycle in the machine. Never had a problem, and I wear a 30H so they're expensive specialist bras.

Re: FS

(Anonymous) 2014-07-05 10:46 am (UTC)(link)
it's not the end of the world - either use some needlenosed pliers to bend that bit back into shape, or remove it entirely and just sew on a new hook & eye closure.
Good Luck :)
