Dumbest movies you've ever seen?

And it would be better to add why you thought they're dumb because reasons can vary.

Kung Pow: Enter the Fist (2002). It was just stupid. The plot was stupid. The characters were stupid. Ugh. I don't know if it was trying to be a parody or comedy but it failed. My little bro loved it though.

Everyone in my family loves that movie, and from what I understand, it's because it's stupid. Also, the truly ridiculous voice acting.

So I think you're completely right when you say it's a dumb movie.

also why was the lead a white guy who looked like Henry Winkler?

The Other Woman.
Seems to be the only movie that comes to mind now because that one was utter BS and all the characters there were dumb and annoying, especially the wife.

THANK you. And it annoys me so much because I feel like Bridesmaids, it was supposed to be this "female buddy film", except it got it even more wrong than Bridesmaids. "Haha the boyfriend/husband now acts/looks like a woman!" Give me a break. It was just generally a stupid movie.

Tip Toes!

After reading this (http://www.cracked.com/blog/i-love-tiptoes/) article about it, I just had to check it out. It's so stupid, just about every thing about it is stupid, and I have no idea how this movie got made.

With enough alcohol it can be very (unintentionally) hilarious though!

Meet the Parents - More like Two Hours of Secondhand Embarrassment. I've never seen another "comedy" that made me so unable to understand "who would find this funny?"

Spanglish - Nobody was sympathetic, both sides were wrong, and the college application essay the girl wrote at the end wasn't deep, it was just everything you shouldn't write in a college application.

Oh God, I couldn't watch Meet the Parents for exactly that reason.

The Oogieloves. To quote a review, it feels like it wasn't made so much as marketed. It was kind of funny in a way, but lord, it was awful. It's also available for Netflix instant streaming, in case anyone else wants to see it.

AYRT

I'd never seen the movie before, I didn't know the words or the tune. So no.

Apartment 1303 3D. Not the Japanese horror movie it's apparently based off of since I don't care to see that one anytime soon anyway.

No. This movie is basically "this is scary themes, right? this is where you should be scared, right?" the movie. You have a ghost girl haunting the tenants of 1303, usually driving them to murder or suicide for some vague reason, and none of the time does she look like anything other than a regular girl making a nuisance of herself with a weird B&E session. There is a pretty unnecessarily long (besides unnecessary) scene where she sits in a kitchen sink while everyone else continues to sleep and not notice.

The regular people folk are composed of a sister who puts down a deposit for an apartment she's never even seen, random muscle guy, Mischa Barton pretending to be Sarah Michelle Gellar, Julianne Michelle for some reason, a cryptic little girl (little girls are creepy, right?), and a ham-handed rapist guy who lives next door.

I hate myself for watching it.

eta: oh yeah and the editing is amazing. I love the part where two characters are having a back and forth, and every time there's a shot that includes the both of them it's jarringly toned green. Also, one person being levitated off their balcony is probably the only reason this was shot in 3D.

The original is good. Creepy, but good. I saw it before I heard of/saw Apartment 1303 and I was reading the plot all, "This sounds kind of familiar..." then I realized why. XD

I don't doubt it is, otherwise why would it be remade ('because the director of this one was a weeab?' i ask myself)
Seriously though, I'll give it a try at some point as soon as I can unrelate it to the bad.

Charlie's Angels. I get that it was supposed to be stupid funny, but unfortunately the movie was more the former than the latter.

Didn't help that Barrymore and Bill Murrary were the only people able to act in that mess.

Pretty much most Mark Hamill movies besides Star Wars that I saw because I had a stupid crush on him. The plots were just awful and bad.

What?! YOu mean Corvette Summer wasn't a bastion of quality? I don't remember Slipstream or The Big Red One that well, but I feel like they were the sort of movies I might appreciate more as an adult than the tween/teen I was when I first saw them.

* I might also have watched a ton of Mark Hamill things because I had a stupid crush.

The Oxford Murders.
Oh god, this movie still makes me rage because it was incredibly awful and I only watched it because I thought Elijah looked cute in it, and honestly, I deserved going throw the pain of watching it for being that shallow.

I think it was called Summer School... basically this guy who doesn't give a crap has to teach summer school, and things happen. I didn't get it, but watched it all the way through because of the trainwreck factor. It was almost so dumb it was good.
