it's certainly the best in terms of story/plot. and the music is amazing as well!

It's definitely one of the better spin-offs, though I like Colosseum and Pinball more.

And probably the best plot-wise.

Don't feel bad about it, OP! It's a great game, and this is coming from someone who is endlessly devoted to the main games. Explorers of the Sky is one of my top three favorite Pokémon games.

But it's fantastic. (Caveat - watching a friend livestream it since I don't have it, haven't got up to the postgame yet, have seen some spoilers but avoiding others.) For something superficially 'cutesy' (I've seen a lot of reviews saying it's suitable for six or seven-year-olds, and REALLY have to wonder how far into it they got!), it has a fantastic storyline and characters, and I can completely understand why someone would say it's their favourite game.

It's definitely the best of the spin-off games, at least in my opinion. Guildmaster Wigglytuff is one of my favorite Pokemon characters ever, and Bidoof is so adorable that he's redeemed his entire species in my eyes and (almost) makes me want to train one in my Platinum game. ♥

YES

PMD is so underrated as a spinoff. (Well, I can only speak for the first two games. I haven't and won't play Gates to Infinity because it won't let me roll a Squirtle. Yes, I'm biased.) It's really too bad it gets dismissed for either not being a mothership title or for being too cutesy/repetitive, because the story and music are amazingly AWESOME for a Pokemon game. The "cutesy" argument is kind of odd because PMD goes into some pretty dark places.

I know this will never ever happen but it would be a DREAM if even just the first game got an "HD" remake (as in, redone with Gates to Infinity-level graphics). I would also want it to have voice acting. I even went as far as to draft a cast list, 'cause I'm a freaking nerd that way. >_>;

...or a full TV anime would be fine, too! Those one-shot specials are not enough!
