My favourite characters are Piper, Watson, Yoga Jones, Poussey and Suzanne (when she isn't under Vee's influence, of course). I hated Tucky last year, but I think she was pretty interesting this season. And Pornstache is someone I really, really love to hate. I'm fond of Brook too, she's hysterical.

And in turn I can't really get into the moeblob-fest that far too much manga is these days. Older manga, sure, more recent stuff? Forget it. (That goes for anime, too.)

Comics don't always have the best artists but at least I can tell the difference between one and the other still. (Though can Scott McDaniel please retire? I liked his work for Nightwing in the 90s but it just sticks out like a sore thumb these days. And I'd be okay with never seeing Juan Jose Ryp's work anymore -- nothing against him personally, but whenever I see his style it triggers flashbacks to Crossed which he did covers for. I never want to read Crossed again.)

Don't feel too bad. A friend of mine decided to see what kind of fic would annoy me and found that nearly all of the F.E.A.R. fanfiction was written by what I presume to be a 15 year old Russian trying to write in English. It was worse than the STALKER novel.
