When I write in another language than English I always add an English summary. There ARE indeed people out there who, say, speak Spanish as a second language, but appreciate an English summary to decide if they want to go to the trouble. Basically I've always considered it a courtesy to add an English summary.

Wouldn't that be more likely to turn away Spanish speakers though? (Legit question, BTW).

Ooh, okay. See that makes sense. It's when the summary is only in one language but the fix is a different one altogether that confuses me.

I still can't get it.
If they speak Spanish they can read the Spanish summary and decide, there's no need to add the English version because the intended audience it's not English speakers (native or not) but Spanish speakers (native or not).
