What are some characters that are generally hated (or at least ignored/under appreciated) by fandom but are loved by you? example: Relena from Gundam Wing got a lot of shit back in the day but I thought she was awesome.

Apparently some SJWs from tumblr decided they were going to take over 4chan with feminist stuff and teach them 4channers a thing or two! They even said they were gonna do it July 4th. Well, they are regretting that. 4chan has been spamming popular tags with gore and sexual stuff.

I honestly dont care about the spamming in tags like feminism/otherkin/sjw because they were the ones that started it. I do with they'd stay out of fandom tags like avengers/supernatural/attack on titan.

Question about teeth

Have you ever forgotten how to do something that you had no problems doing previously? Or forgotten a fact you have known forever?

I finally got around to cleaning my A/C unit today. And I realized that I have forgotten how to use a socket wrench. I knew how to use one a couple months ago but I had to YouTube it today. And I still had trouble using it.

I also regularly forget the name of Jude Law. I have no idea why.

Weird fearings

Sometimes, I am afraid that when I open the microwave, there is going to be something in there, and it's going to attack me. This almost makes sense when I'm opening to put food in, but I also am afraid when i take the food out, as if the act of microwaving will create the thing or morph the food.

Thank you to everyone who answered me last night. It was still tough and my head is killing me today, but I think I've passed the low point at least. You guys are rad.

internet friendship woes

I have this acquaintance, say; I consider her a friend, she doesn't reciprocate. Last year, her real-life best friend & roommate ditched her to move half-way across the country and marry someone she'd met six months before and dated long-distance since.
My friend spent the last year bitching about her ex-best friend and the significant other that despised her and complaining about how badly they treated her. In the end she even called the ex-friend a downright controlling, manipulating bitch, their friendship an abusive relationship, and the break-up a necessary new start.
Then, last week, after a heart-to-heart with a relative, she decided that she was better off in a bad company than alone, she started speaking again with a ex/best friend and now is going on about how she actually sounded kind of sweet.
I tried to call her out--either the friend wasn't really abusive and badmouthing her all these months was wrong, or she was and talking to her again should be a big no-no. To no avail. Saying this turned me into a bad guy.
I have to conclude that for her I was just another of these bad companies just slightly better off than no-one.

Sleeping Together

I mean, in a family way. I was watching The Bling Ring and was really happily surprised to see a family where siblings slept in the same bed. The way my sister was so embarrassed about her friends knowing she and I shared a bed at night I thought we were freaks for doing it.

My sister had a full-sized bed that we shared for years until one night she was having some kind of teenage angst crisis keeping me up and I went and passed out in my own bed (that was just sort of there as decoration in my bedroom up until then.) Didn't have any trouble transitioning to sleeping alone. (My mother harbors some quasi-Freudian belief that children who are forced to sleep alone against their will are more likely to compensate for the lack of emotional fulfillment in adulthood by hopping around other peoples' beds. If you know what I mean.

Anyhoo, did you share a bed with a family member too, no big deal?

I'm starting to hate Tumblr's attitude of "representation headcanons are the best!!"

I just had an argument with someone who took offense to my suggestion that people actually do some research and see if a character fits at least a large amount of autism symptoms before claiming they're autistic.

With few facts to back it up, it's less "interpreting them as such" and more "pretending they're are like me so I can feel better" Heaven forbid you actually think and do research before declaring someone autistic (even fictional).

Thank you for all the recommendations. I really like violent musicals, so it was disappointing when there were romantic songs in Sweeney Todd. Are there any really violent musicals without romance?
