I just find the Harry/Ginny thing to be creepy since Ginny is very clearly just the closest Harry can get to fucking his own mother. And Ginny has been obsessing on Harry since she was old enough to understand he existed.

On the other hand, the other Potter women are all fine. Apart from that one who tried to date-rape Ron. That was just all sorts of wrong.

I get mixed feelings on the Lily and Snape thing, I think she was perfectly within her rights to cut him off, but also at the same time, it was a shame she did. Still it wasn't "wrong" or "evil" or any of the other things that some Snapefen claim.

Yeah, if anything Hermione's closer to being like Lily... and Ron is a lot like James in terms of who he is to Harry, whose upbringing was similar to Sirius's.

Yeah, I don't get it either. I'm not a fan of Ginny or the way Ginny/Harry was done but if I was going to compare Ginny to one of Harry's parents it would be James, not Lily. (Fell in love and stayed in love from young age, loves Quidditch, somewhat vicious sense of justice, etc.)

I always wonder if the people so convinced that Ginny = Lily don't know anybody with red hair. Bright red hair with brown eyes and freckles does not remotely make me think TWIN to someone described as having dark red hair and green eyes.

Yeah, I used to think H/G was an Oedipal thing but now I'd lean more toward Ginny being the closest Harry could get to fucking Ron. I'm okay with H/G but I see a kind of parallel between Harry crushing on oblivious Ron and Sirius crushing on oblivious James.

Do you mean Romilda? She targeted Harry but Ron ended up eating the love potion chocolate. If you meant Lavender then I must have missed something.
