I would see Loki as a someone who's bought into the fandom thing. Convinced he likes to top or should top or must top, except it all stems from insecurity. I'd love to see someone write him as convinced he's a total top and confused by not getting as much satisfaction from topping as he thought he would, because briefly feeling powerful doesn't address any of the issues he has.

But god, not the way fandom writes him, and bottoming wouldn't be the answer.
