Re: What's the pettiest thing you've unfollowed someone for?

I just feel like I want to wait until the movie is out before I make any judgement. Also I dunno I guess I just felt like this one person was going along with the crowd.

But then again with this one person...I just felt like it was an accumulation of factors you know? I have been annoyed at them for awhile because in the fandom we shared they were...kind of annoying about a particular character and their hatred for the character. Basically having the attitude of "she shouldn't have existed" or "She should have died" for no apparent reason then "I just don't really like the character" . When people tried to talk to them about this they got snippy and dismissed the people. (who made very good points. they didn't argue from a standpoint of 'but I like the character' but rather, "it just doesn't fit in the story and the shows handling of death. All PERMANENT deaths have been those of ghosts so far)

Also they blogged a lot about "ships I just can't ship" and their annoyance with ships they don't like ...like once every two months. It all just really started to get on my nerves.

I understand. I'm someone who really can't wait for the movie and can't wait for a real trailer (ALTHOUGH to be fair I didn't even realize it until someone pointed it out, I was just happy to have clear canon designs [because they probably are or either very close like those Frozen ''''posters'''' last year].

But I have SUPER low tolerance for tumblr's Disney circuit to begin with.

I feel like re: Disney on tumblr its very polarized so there's people who take some of what it does as "the worst thing ever and if you like it you have to admit it's problematic / racist" but then there's a side that is like "DISNEY HAS NO FLAWS HDU"

So yeah....either side can be annoying.

I unabashedly hang on the former side ("Open your eyes, they aren't perfect"), but they've indoctrinated themselves so well (& I'd really love to read a book about how they infiltrated every way of life) that people are astoundingly stupid.
