Apparently some SJWs from tumblr decided they were going to take over 4chan with feminist stuff and teach them 4channers a thing or two! They even said they were gonna do it July 4th. Well, they are regretting that. 4chan has been spamming popular tags with gore and sexual stuff.

I honestly dont care about the spamming in tags like feminism/otherkin/sjw because they were the ones that started it. I do with they'd stay out of fandom tags like avengers/supernatural/attack on titan.

I thought that was basically bait by a 4channer saying to attack this site and then gave out the IP address to tumblr that very few people realized. Or is it something else?

I'm more or less indifferent to it, but I laughed at this post going "IF I HAVE THIS POST ON MY BLOG, 4CHAN HAS NOT HACKED ME" like lmao it doesn't work that way.

It's also kind of a weird thing I feel, 4chan isn't like F!S that goes "Well they have a point but I hate how they present it so I'll ignore it and call them sjw." but are beyond saving.

I confess to having a giggle at a couple of people who decided they didn't want to add any tags to things for their own 'safety' (as though 4chan is raiding every tag for your house keys and bank account number) but then horror of horrors, if they don't tag anything how will their followers be protected from their endless trigger list by their blacklist safety blankets?! It's the ultimate sjw catch 22. God forbid tumblr overreact to something.

the tumblr attack was stupid but the 4chan response (now they want to take people's selfies and photoshop them onto porn with rl info attached) is typically over-the-top and gross.

i don't follow any tags, and none of the blogs i follow have been hit with it, so i have managed to stay clear of the whole mess

but apparently they're spamming the depression and self-harm tags and the lgbt tags as well? and photoshopping people's faces onto porn? (i don't think i need to tell you that the majority of tumblr's userbase are young teenagers.)

tumblr's response was typical, and again, understandable for teenagers who don't know any better. but 4chan? they can go and burn in hell.
