That said, tumblr's so good at getting worked into a frenzy that 4chan doesn't have to do much more than post a few things and people will think 4chan will eventually hack their very computers, steal their dog, and set the world on fire.

Even when Neopets' security was complete shit people didn't panic as much on the boards.

Yeah, 4chans are being assholes but Tumblr is kind of overreacting and spreading a lot of misinformation around. I don't think 4chan cares as much as Tumblr thinks they do.
