I recently keep forgetting which direction gives hot and cold water when I turn the armature of the tap. I do it right without thinking, but a few weeks ago, I actually couldn't remember (and it didn't help that the water takes a long time to get warm so even though I was more or less sure that I turned it to hot, it stayed cold). It was actually kind of disturbing - my mind was completely blank at that moment. And it's happened a few times since...

I had this problem when I moved into my old place! It didn't help that the landlord but the handles on the sink backwards to the H one was cold and the C was hot.

Well that's just mean X'D
