Looking at all the gifs from it - still need to get around to watching it - I realized just how I much I'm not going to care about the series until Venus appears.

I have a friend who's a big fan of the series and was disappointed when I told her she'd have to wait at least two years for the outers if they do one arc per season. (With, of course, the exception of Pluto.) She's never read the manga and has only seen a handful of episodes outside the first season, so she was unaware of the timeline.

I still wish the live action series had gone beyond a single season since I think their take on the outers would've been really fun.

Aw, I can sympathize with her. With the exception of Makoto, I'm not a super big fan of the inner senshi. And most of the characters I want to see, Haruka, The Amazon Trio and Quartet, and Nehelenia won't be in the show for quite a while.

Haha, yeah. I really don't have it too bad. As long as Venus gets her sword this series and cries over scratching marble and shattering diamonds, I will be happy.

Stars was my favorite season from the old anime, so aside from then taking ages to get there, Sailor Stars are probably going to be around far less and the Usagi/Seiya drastically reduced. The reboot is not catering to my inner nine year old :(

As a guess, I wouldn't anticipate seeing Venus until sometime around November/December, depending on how they pace it. Considering Mercury is appearing next episode, it might be sooner, but I think they'll start padding the story out at about episode 3/4.

I don't know. I heard there are only going to be 20 or so episodes. If they're going to follow the manga, she should appear around episode 8 or 9.

It'll be 26 episodes, I believe. One episode every other week for a year.
