To add to the list, Billy Elliot has no romance. Does Joseph and the technicolor Dreamcoat feature romance? I've honeslty forgotten.

Otherwise, Ushers does the straigt romance very ironically (VERY ironically), but the gay couple's romance is played straight, so to speak. Dirty Rotten Scroundels also uses it to comedic effect (con men who swindle women out of the money by making them fall for them).
