Well, I do understand your frustration with people who don't tag properly. It's always annoying reading a fic you think is going to be about a pale ship you like only to find out halfway through that it was actually flushed the whole time, or vice versa, or with any of the other quadrants, etc. etc. I agree with you 100% on that.

But... that's really not a problem that has anything to do with whether or not moirallegiances and austipicisms are romantic relationships or not. They are. It's fine if you're not interested in reading them, but nonsexual romance exists, it's not always just defaulted to platonic just because no one wants to kiss. :/

This is basically exactly what I was trying to say. Pale and ashen ships ARE ROMANCE. But they should also be tagged as pale and ashen, so I understand OP's frustration in that regard.

(Assuming romance has to be sexual is also an issue that is not limited to this fandom.)
