Yep. Because there are parents out there who don't want to leave their kids outside alone the bathroom in public places like the mall or the grocery store. Or want them to go alone in places they can't follow like bathrooms of the opposite gender of themselves. Doesn't matter if that kid is three or eight. And that's understandable. But that kid should know better not to peek under the stall. That's rude.

I disagree. I don't care if the parent doesn't want to leave the kid alone. I don't want a boy that old in the women's restroom (and I doubt men want a little girl that old in the men's restroom). It is only appropriate to bring them in if they are young enough to need help. Older than that and you need to find some other solution.

8-10 is when kids start making boob jokes and getting 'girlfriends' to hold hands with in the lunch line. Peeking under occupied women's stalls isn't just innocent play or curiosity any more. If a boy is old enough to think about actual peeping they are too old. Period.
