I like hearing about all of the stuff the media gets wrong because then I learn the correct stuff from people. I don't know anything about water safety rules (save for probably the most basic things) so I'm curious as to what the media does wrong.

Long ago I've been rescued from a pool in an aquapark (a bit), so I 100% agree that a drawing person doesn't shout or raises hands in the air as they do in the Media, because they can't, they don't have enough air. And the head is usually held back, as if person looks up. So these are the signs that someone drawns.

Oh yeah, that is probably one of the most common examples. That's how the majority of the people drowning in Baywatch acted, if I recall.

I wonder what other examples are. I've never been to a water safety briefing.
