i can't say anything for the plot because i haven't watched yet, but all the gifs and such i've seen on tumblr make me ugh. i really hate the art style though i can't exactly pinpoint why. i feel like even for anime/sailor moon style their heads are small. and the colors are weird. dunno. i have no real nostalgia for sailor moon (i was a gundam wing kid...) so i'm not that upset over it.

just looked it up and...huh. so they basically created clone looking characters of the originals huh. don't think i'm interested lol.

That's not all that happened, unforunately. It gets worse.

The colors are way too keyed up and bright, even for a magical girl anime.

Their skull shapes are particularly weird on some of the characters and are rarely in the proper perspective.

Even if you like the art style, there are real technical problems with it so I don't blame you for disliking it.
