I liked Lion King well enough but I've never understood why so many people say it's the best one.

I think it's an age thing. I loved the movie to death when I was a teenager (and oh boy, my love for Scar was unending). I went years without watching it because I didn't think it could possibly live up to my memory, then one day I finally did, and it didn't. At all. Not only that, I cannot see how I ever liked and identified with Scar. Teenage thing, I tell you.

It's still a good movie, but Scar was so horrible it was jarring to watch knowing how much I had liked him.

Mulan and Beauty and the Beast? Those two held up just fine. I think I like Mulan even better now than when it originally came out.
