(Anonymous) 2014-07-09 12:25 am (UTC)(link)This is the thing that annoys me about movie hype, people act like I'm crazy if I didn't like something or am hesitant about seeing something when the movie first comes out... but then a year later they'll be agreeing with every problem I had.
I've started thinking of it as the Avatar effect, people get distracted by the shiny new thing and can't think critically until it wears off.
But then I'm a weirdo who can admit that movies I loved had problems, even very early on.
