29. Me too; Yuki is far more interesting.

But in Fruits Basket, if you don't like Kyo, you just don't belong. >_> Never mind the fact that he's rude, violent, intolerant and childish. No, he's hot (he isn't), and that's all that matters!

It's cute when he bashes Tohru over the head! It's sexy when he disrespects EVERYONE!

I hate that, though. If you dislike a popular character, everyone shuns you. Trust me, I know that feeling. There are several popular characters in a lot of me fandoms that I hate. But god forbide anyone finds out. So stupid. :/

I never HATED Kyo... He was just... boring. The typical shunned and neglected boy type roll, ya know?

Fruits Basket is MADE of characters that could come from any other anime. Tohru's probably the most unique one.

I'm not really a fan of Yuki or Kyou especially (Shigure <3 you horrible man) but the problem with Fruits Basket is that everyone has a tragic backstory. Everyone.

...admittedly, I uh, I feel a lot more like this is the case after reading the manga to v. 21 or so.

Point. Never thought of that...

Well, I've kinda been kicked out of the fandom anyway for liking the anime more than the manga. For some reason I like Fruits Basket with more happy/silly than with more angst/emo. I always saw the manga as more emo while I felt the anime balanced drama and happy better.

So eh. To each their own, right? XD

That's what got me about him; he's such a flat, cliched character. What irks me is the fact that the Furuba fandom seems to be made up of 90% Kyo teeny bopper fangirls who can't take it when someone comes along who doesn't like him. =/

I never had a problem, mostly because I never admitted to not liking Kyo a whole lot. But I'm shunned by fandom anyway for liking the Fruits Basket anime better than the manga. XD;
