Reborn! is your typical shounen manga set in a mafiaverse, not a mafia manga. If you're looking for real mafia, wrong manga to look at, just like if you're looking for real ninja, you don't go to Naruto. I figured that was obvious? It's not the mafia that people love it for, it's the shounen teamwork overcoming obstacles, etc etc stuff.
