8. Honestly, I didn't like Zuko until he grew some hair and started being properly awkward. ("YES.UH. I JUGGLED.") But I agree. I didn't foam at the mouth like some people when he joined Azula, but I was properly shocked. :)

30. As a lot of people have said, they're like... totally different takes on mafia, set in completely different times, and Baccano definitely has more serious themes than Reborn! does (especially in the first sixty or so chapters). Different strokes for different folks! I love both series, though.

And... I haven't met a RABID fan in the Reborn! fandom yet. Yes, there's a lot of fangirling going on, but... Amano kind of sets it up for that. There hasn't been any "OMG I SHIP X/Y AND ANY OTHER SHIP INCLUDING X OR Y IS UNHOLY", like some people have said. It's definitely not a bad fandom. /ramble

8. I'm actually really glad to see that there is someone else who didn't get their panties in a twist over Zuko's choice at the end fo season two.

I honestly liked him in all three, in the first one because he was the bigger man (as far as I'm concerned) and gracefully let Elizabeth go, in the second one because he's a human enough character to actually want his comfortable life back, and in the third one because, yes, he did let Elizabeth go years ago, but he really did love her.

26. 8D I would join that fandom in a heartbeat.

30. =3 I felt that way for all of the first 60 chapters of KHR. My friend suggested to me, and we usually have very similar tastes in shounen manga. And she warned me, even -- the first 60+ chapters are a paaaain in the aaaaaarse, except for possibly the Fuuta mini-arc which makes me shrivel from the tooth-rotting sweet and adorable Fuuta-ness of it all. Then, I swear, you will honestly start getting curious around chapter 60, and most people start getting that "oh crap I'm going to pull an all-nighter for just a few more chapters aren't I?" around chapter 65.

I mean, if it's just not your cuppa, it's not (although I've never met anyone who doesn't like a little mindless action), but if you haven't given it a chance past chapter 60, you might be missing some solid manga and I'll personally reserve judgement about your judgement.

... and if it's really that hard to pay attention to the first 60, just ogle the fashion. That's what I did. x3 Gokudera and Yamamoto are the most nicely dressed pair of boys that I believe I've seen grace a page since the boys of Bleach. And those guys have style. 8D;;; o-oh god i really love clothes ;_;

Still comparing Baccano! to Reborn! [wait why do both of them have !] is like comparing apples to oranges. They might both be mafiafruits but they're way different.
