I always feel kind of weird when I see people mocking ridiculous poses because I can usually do the ones that they call impossible and some of them are actually really comfortable for me.

And yeah, I do feel like quite a few of the people laughing at the male versions are just going along with the status quo by laughing at a man acting "girly".

Same. I never thought of a lot of those poses as a big deal for the longest time BECAUSE I could do a lot of them so easily. I was surprised when I stumbled across people talking about how unrealistic and impossible they are because my reaction was "... but I can do that."

I think one of the big ones is that yes you can do them.... but would you want to in the middle of a fight?

I mean yes Batman can do a handstand just fine, but why would he be doing a handstand and cooking dinner with spatulas tied to his feet unless the point of the pose was to look silly? So why would a female character be doing pinup poses in the middle of battle unless it was to look 'sexy'?

That can bother me too. It's especailly when people criticise the poses where the chest is all pushed forward with the boobs sticking out and label it as something that no woman ever does, and I find myself sitting/standing like that all the time, because it prevents said boobs from getting in the way.
