Re: Stress induced toothache?

The pain is referring (spreading out to other teeth) because the nerve in your tooth is dying. It goes away when you are distracted because your brain is a wonderful thing that is feeding you all kinds of opioids, but not enough to take the pain away completely.

Get clove oil from the pharmacy. Place the cotton swab from the end of a Q-Tip soaked in the stuff on the gum DIRECTLY under the affected tooth (this WILL kill the nerve, so make sure you don't get it on any other tooth). This should kill the nerve, which will kill the pain, unless it's infected.

Other than that, you're looking at a root canal, I'm sorry to say. Just make sure you get a good dentist, and if they try to sell you more than one, find somebody else. That's the main procedure from which they make their money. (Talk to the dentist BEFORE they have you in the chair and frozen; they often don't charge for a consultation, if you have no insurance).

If it comes down to a root canal, ill just have him jerk the tooth out. no way can afford 1k for something that might eventually have to be pulled anways.

and yeah, not insurance
