So many of those complaints are setting the bar way too high as well, like this movie about women/PoC needs to tick every box on this stupidly complicated checklist otherwise it was complete crap, how about just appreciating the fact that it was a moving focusing on women/PoC instead? Because that's a good thing(and yes I'd like 'good'(never-mind that what constitutes as good is fucking subjective as hell) films with women/PoC too but you're gonna get duds mixed in with the good stuff just like with all the white-dude movies, it's how it works).

And maybe if that happens we can do away with "Green Lantern flopped? Could be lots of reasons. We're still on track for a Justice League movie, right? Batman and Robin flopped? Could be anything. We'll reboot that with a trilogy. Catwoman flopped? Obviously because of the girl cooties, no more lady-superheroes." And just accept that a woman/POC led movie doesn't have to be a shining perfect jewel of cinema and storytelling to still be a story worth telling.
