(Anonymous) 2014-07-11 02:15 am (UTC)(link)The problem is with the fact that it's almost always women who are posed this way, and in the case of comics in particular it's not just the anatomy but the ridiculousness of these poses in how they relate to the story. Is a woman always going to remain perfectly sexy when she's in the middle of a fight? I don't really think so.
These things can be hard to take on case by case, and yeah I definitely think tumblr misses the mark sometimes on how they should be critiquing the art, but it's still an important dialogue.
