Yeah I get that OP.

There are still amazing things you can do though you know. Things that don't cost anything. You've just got to find them.

(Anonymous) 2014-07-11 11:19 pm (UTC)(link)
Not the OP, but I'm curious about what you'd suggest as a substitute for being a wealthy, smart lady with dozens of hot beaus and a successful career in amateur detection.

(Anonymous) 2014-07-11 11:28 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes obviously I was implying you can enjoy an equivalent lifestyle for free /sarcasm

The OP sounds dissatisfied with their lives. I was suggesting they get out there and find something that they can get excited about.

(Anonymous) 2014-07-11 11:42 pm (UTC)(link)
Okay. I'm sure being told to just fix their unhappiness somehow will be enormously helpful.

(Anonymous) 2014-07-11 11:49 pm (UTC)(link)
Well looking for ways to enjoy your own life rather than futiley wishing to inhabit someone else's IS actually a good start at improving your happiness.

(Anonymous) 2014-07-12 10:03 am (UTC)(link)
You're right. I'm sure they totally did not realize that was a good idea before you were kind enough to tell them.

(Anonymous) 2014-07-12 01:00 am (UTC)(link)
What should people be saying? "Yeah, OP, you're right. Your life is always going to suck because you can't be a perfect fictional being, so whatever you do, don't try to change your situation."

(Anonymous) 2014-07-12 07:48 am (UTC)(link)
Better than your obviously sour, defeatist attitude any day.

(Anonymous) 2014-07-12 10:05 am (UTC)(link)
It's sour and defeatist to point out that saying things like "Oh, just find something amazing to do" is so vague as to be unhelpful? Okay.

(Anonymous) 2014-07-11 11:31 pm (UTC)(link)
How about living your own life instead of getting upset that you can't live out an impossible fantasy?
