Yeah, pretty sure they are talking about the ppl who think dean is canonly bi. Which....there is no evidence for. at all.

dean is the furthest thing from bisexual.

and people get frothingly mad if you tell them his bisexuality is not canon, regardless of how much fanservice and baiting the show includes.

it matters because why the fuck are people so adamant to claim a guy who is clearly never going to suck a dick is not-straight when they could be supporting and demanding already openly gay/bi/whatever characters?

I stopped watching after season 3 tbh, though sometimes get spn on my dash. I thought they had him check out a guy in an episode? Or maybe I'm just catching the edges of the crazy.

To be fair the possibility of Dean being bi is a lot less repellant than the 'but no homo!' attitude.

If you saw anything about Dean checking out a guy, it was either taken out of context or the episode involving Dr. Sexy.

He didn't check out a guy, it's the edges of crazy. One of my friends (who I thought was pretty connected to reality) told me Dean totally was into this guy who hit on him in this one ep, it was totally canon! And even though I'd stopped watching the show seasons ago I was curious so I watched the episode. A guy hit on him and he was a bit uncomfortable with it but polite in shooting the guy down in a fairly PC way. He in no way displayed any interest in the guy. But according to my friend (and most of that fandom apparently), this was CANON!!!!

Man, I shipped both Wincest AND Destiel when I was still into that fandom, and nope, Dean did not wanna bone that dude.

Pretty sure the furthest thing from bisexual is asexual, and he's definitely not that. :)

Liking women a lot doesn't mean he's not bisexual. Bisexual doesn't mean equally liking both genders, you know.

On the other hand, he has specifically said he's not attracted to men on multiple occasions.
