Why do you care? Honestly? Yes, he's straight in canon. Yes, he's bisexual in my personal headcanon and I ship him with people of both genders. Personally, I don't see the point in caring what other people ship or what they think is/isn't canon. The problem is the people bugging the actors and being jerks about it. People just casually thinking he's bi in canon don't interfere with or hurt anyone else.

And really, any character can be interpreted/written to be anything. We don't see into their heads. Yes, in canon he sleeps with women and appears to be heterosexual. But there are gay people in the closet who act that way towards women. That isn't what the writers intent, but when it comes to people's personal interpretations of a character it isn't too far of a stretch and does work in fanon.

That is a problem. It bugs me when people do that too. But this secret reads more like "you shouldn't have the opinion you have" which is equally a problem.

Honestly, Dean's enthusiastic embrace of all the macho cliches is a major reason I interpret him as queer; at some point, he stops looking like "the most heterosexual character in existence" and starts looking like a guy who's desperately overcompensating for something.
