I didn't have crushes, per se, I had characters I wanted to hang out with, and be part of their lives. I really wasn't into the whole 'boyfriend/girlfriend' thing. But for those I wanted to hang out with...would Disney's animated Robin Hood be an embarrassment? Or Tia and Tony, from the original Witch Mountain movies? Though I kinda wanted to be Tia more than hang out with her.

I had an early one on Sandokan. The tiger one, from the cartoon (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lNEHuZOmw78), not the 19th century original. It took me a while to realise there was an original.

I also then had a later one on Col. Thomas Blood, cashiered, from George MacDonald Fraser's Pyrates, leading me to conclude that I have a thing for nautical rogues of the passingly-honourable type. Again, it took me a while to realise Blood was based on an actual historical figure, who apparently really was that damn glib and talented (in the sense of having tried to rob the British Crown Jewels, gotten an interview with the king about it, and walked out with a reward of land. Must have been a hell of a conversation).

My taste in fictional men apparently comes right out of the swashbucklers and/or historical bodice-rippers. Ah well ;)

When I watched a lot of anime, I'd routinely end up crushing on the blandly nice, moderately decent-looking, generic everydude who all the hot chicks wanted to bang and was supposed to be an audience surrogate for the straight male target audience, the one that all smart reviewers always asked "What do all these girls see in him, anyway?" about.

Today I found him sitting on a bench by the river, and he was like "There's a seat open next to me, you know..." So I sat down, and he and my character exchanged this cute little smile, and I was like ^____________^

He also sent me a letter the other day to tell me that my name sounded very zydeco.

...I honestly am kind of in love with this chubby sheep, and it's really disturbing.

Simba has already been said, but yup; he was a handsome lion. Disney's Robin Hood too!

Oh, and Rogue and Knuckles from Sonic.

This isn't embarrassing (well, not to me, anyway) but Teddy Altman. (Well...maybe slightly embarrassing because of his age.) He's so cute (I especially like how he was drawn in the old YA series) and he's hot green as well.

I was watching a Corpse Party playthrough and the character of Kizami was introduced. I have never wanted to sex a voice so hard and so immediately before in my life. Sadly, my crush was short-lived, for reasons anyone who's seen Corpse Party probably understands.
