Right now, watching baseball and cleaning up my house becaaaaaaause - out of town cosplay friend is driving all the way across the state Sunday so we can take pics together in costume with my bunnies! (And she's bringing me her old fairy wings because they're my favorite color, which she doesn't wear much, so she said I can have them!) Her husband and my sister-in-law are both photographers (and also cosplayers), so there's going to be some epic photoshooting going on.

And if I actually have some down time, another friend I met through cosplay who is totally awesome surprised me by sending me the DVD of Tiger & Bunny: The Rising, which was apparently only JUST RELEASED. I really don't know what I did to deserve such awesome friends. It remains to be seen how much of this movie I'll understand, because it's Japanese and I don't know if there are English subtitles, but I seriously don't care - I was faced with driving to Canada if I wanted to see it, which meant getting a passport and blah blah blah, so I am so incredibly grateful. :D

Have fun taking pictures! It is great that you have family that is photographers. Makes it a hell of a lot cheaper/easier.

And have fun with your movie which I assume isn't about an actual tiger and bunny?

Nope! Tiger & Bunny is the first anime I fell in love with in ten years, and they've now released a couple of movies. (Still holding out hope for another season...) I saw someone sum up the premise something like this: Imagine Spiderman is a loser single dad, and Batman is a narcissist prettyboy, and they're forced to team up and fight crime in Iron Man suits for points on reality TV. XD

And yeah, I feel bad NOT paying the family photographers, though, or assuming anything. These two have NEVER asked for payment, but I know other photographers who get frustrated when people just assume "We're friends/family, you'll work for free!" But we do each other favors and stuff, so it's all cool. ;)

That sounds like a nice weekend! I hope you get some fun pictures.

(Also, I'm jealous of your Tiger and Bunny DVD. Totally didn't realize that had been released...I need to find a way to watch it. ENJOY!)

I think it was just released a few days ago? I didn't realize it was released either until a package showed up from Japan at my door and I was like "wtf?" :D

The bunnies have come in handy for T&B cosplay photo ops too. XD Always a good time.

And I love your Kotetsu cosplay! You look damn sharp. I feel like his outfit is so stylish you should wear it out casually; it suits you, too.

Heh, thanks! I have been known to use it as my default Sunday outfit at cons, so I can just take off the wig and put on my glasses and drive home in it. It makes me feel good. =)
