Weekend Plans?

What is everyone doing this weekend?

I am feeling pretty sick at the moment so whether or not it goes away determines what I'll be doing. Either I'll be in bed all weekend OR I'll be driving to the city to go clothes shopping (yuck) at the mall.

I'm going to play minigolf for a birthday tomorrow. I hope it's fun, I haven't done it since I was like 9. Also it will probably be hot as balls out, fun fun fun. :\ Wishes we were bowling like the last 3 years.

Might go window shopping at the local art store, and possibly getting my hair cut at the beauty salon just a few bays down from there (I haven't gotten it trimmed in 2 years because I'm lazy). Maybe play some 'Old Republic' or FF7... I haven't decided which to devote my weekend gaming time to yet.

Yeah, my life is totally exciting. =T

Hope you get better enough to get the clothes shopping over with. Research "Freecycle" and see if you can get some free clothes maybe?
(All my best clothes are ones I did not spend money on).

I made a salad and bringing it to a friend's house to see her off before she goes to the US for a month. Also hopefully getting my fixed laptop back soon because I have school stuff to do on it.

Working, mostly. I might make Sunday a super short day and hang out with family (that includes children, so maybe I won't). I want to try my hand at writing fic for a new fandom but it's difficult. I might just continue on with art. ;3;

Hopefully making up for my laziness the past couple days, and being glad my parents are home again. Their week away was bad timing, but it also told me that I don't want to be living alone right now, so that's a nice confirmation that I'm doing the right thing for me.

It's the Hallmark ornament premiere and so my mom and I will be going and buying them bright and early as per tradition. Possibly babysitting tomorrow night, working on Sunday and then taking friends into the city on a chocolate tour.

End of World Cup madness this weekend! I got the final I was more or less hoping for, but I'm genuinely sad that the World Cup will be ending soon. It always gets so depressing.'

I'm also going to bake with my nieces!

Going on a date for breakfast in the morning (first in a few years, so yay).
And after that face painting kiddies at a summer party (also yay).
Sunday on the other hand is writing and editing my bachelor thesis and late night watching the soccer game.

Getting back into walking (I had to take a week off because of some eye troubles), fighting off lady-cramps that have decided to be unusually unpleasant this month, and probably finishing off Natsume's Book of Friends. I also want to get some fic writing done; my current WIP is at 23k words and I only have to get three thousand more before I'm allowed to lift my self-imposed ban on starting something new. I might also try to paint, but I always say that and never do.

Right now, watching baseball and cleaning up my house becaaaaaaause - out of town cosplay friend is driving all the way across the state Sunday so we can take pics together in costume with my bunnies! (And she's bringing me her old fairy wings because they're my favorite color, which she doesn't wear much, so she said I can have them!) Her husband and my sister-in-law are both photographers (and also cosplayers), so there's going to be some epic photoshooting going on.

And if I actually have some down time, another friend I met through cosplay who is totally awesome surprised me by sending me the DVD of Tiger & Bunny: The Rising, which was apparently only JUST RELEASED. I really don't know what I did to deserve such awesome friends. It remains to be seen how much of this movie I'll understand, because it's Japanese and I don't know if there are English subtitles, but I seriously don't care - I was faced with driving to Canada if I wanted to see it, which meant getting a passport and blah blah blah, so I am so incredibly grateful. :D
