People in the GC who describe an issue or event or situation in a specific one of their fandoms (not a general/multifandom issue) but refuse to specify the fandom or characters even when the fandom is big enough that they won't get outed.

Especially when they wish that their small, obscure fandom wasn't so small and obscure. Name your damn fandom then so people can check fandom out!

Exactly! There are so many occasions where I've gone "that sounds really cool! What fandom was this in?" and received no answer.

I know. I can't feel much sympathy for your fandom being small and obscure if your refuse to even name the damn thing. I feel a bit like an ass for feeling that way, but it is so frustrating when the moan and complain but don't name it. Pimp it out! Gush and squee!
