Not OP, but some people (both in the fandom and in the press) seem to have taken "Conchita is for the public, Tom is private, nobody recognizes me when I'm out with friends" as a challenge. I'm guessing that is what OP meant?

(Also, if your search brought up the same thing mine did, it looks more like a tabloid tracking down some less-old-but-still-not-recent photos and building a bullshit article on them, considering if Conchita really was "keen for the public to see her other persona now" recent photos would be everywhere...)
