#notall____

Did the people who designed this tag not realize what a rhetorical victory it would be for everything they hate?

It seems shortsighted to the extreme. "Hm yes we constantly complain when people attack islam, or african americans for a tiny minority so lets popularise a great put down for this."

Considering they think it okay to hate a group of people because of something a tiny percentage does, no they don't. Because when THEY do it, it is different. Why? Because they said so.

But the tag isn't about a "tiny minority" of men, so if someone hijacks it to mock a statement like "#notallmuslims are terrorists," they're not invalidating the original meaning of the tag, they're just misunderstanding what the tag is for.

I'm sick of the whole thing in general. You don't need to remind someone not all men rape to talk about rape. If someone thinks you're 'omg talking about all guys!' when mentioning rape statistics than you have selfesteem problems that need to be addressed.
