Whyyyy would someone add "wetly" to the phrase "his manhood glistened?" I mean, doesn't the fact that it's glistening kind of already imply that it's wet?

Well... It could be gold, LOL.

I think the point -- and I'm not saying that this is poetry or anything -- is that we're seeing Drogo from Dany's POV, and the glistening wetness is due to her vaginal secretions, so it stands for their intimacy and her power over him.

"Dany propped herself on an elbow to look up at him, so tall and magnificent. She loved his hair especially. It had never been cut; he had never known defeat."

ETA Or he could be a vampire...
