The way I see it LJ isn't exactly a bustling metropolis these days either, and it's easy enough to come from LJ to comment on DW (I assume you are?) so I don't see what difference it makes. We're still pretty active, and at least we didn't move to tumblr or something. (Which I love, but that would've killed all conversation and sense of community.)
