Obviously, Starsky's the first speaker, and Hutch is the second.

Actually, that would probably have been obvious without the accent. ;)

I would highly unscientifically estimate 40% deliberately playing dumb, 60% genuinely walking into it in the first season. By season 4 the proportions have switched. :D

It does seem that way! And Starsky is a smart guy so I refuse to believe he doesn't see where some of those comments are going, lol. (Also, thank you for that mental image of Starsky in Hutch's hands...)
