Could be a stand-up comedian, sketch group, live gig, sitcom, panel show, podcast, etc etc.

I'm not picky! Tell me about your faves.

My favorite stand-up comedians are Eddie Izzard, Dat Phan, Pablo Francisco, Nick Swardson, Frank Caliendo, Brian Regan, Cory Kahaney and Mitch Hedberg. I tend to like stand-up comedians who aren't really gross or out there, and I used to watch a lot of Comedy Central Presents (I think almost all of these comedians were featured on Comedy Central Presents.)

My favorite clip (audio only) from Brian Regan is this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xkrMsPiqG6M

Brian Regan is hands-down my favorite stand-up comedian! He's so funny, and he doesn't have to rely on vulgarity to do it, which I respect.

As far as TV shows go, though, I haven't laughed so hard at something on TV in years as I have with Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Just-- straight up one of the funniest ensembles I've ever seen. Their rapport with each other is fantastic, and it's just so relentlessly hilarious that I've actually come away from an episode or two with a sore stomach.
