Really weird browser error....?

[personal profile] tabaqui 2014-07-12 11:59 pm (UTC)(link)
So, i use this site all the time, and have for a couple years: http://rapidmoviez.com/

But starting yesterday, when I tried to go there and/or follow a link to a dl, I got this error *every time*

"Bad Request

Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand.
Size of a request header field exceeds server limit.

Cookie

/n

Apache/2 Server at www.rapidmoviez.com Port 80"

This only happens when i use FF - on Chrome, it works fine. I've done an Avast sweep of my 'puter, restarted both it and my browser, and checked my 'browser health' via the option on the drop-down from the 'help' on FF. I cannot figure out wth this is, and why it just started happening.

Can you try cleaning up your cookies?

Also https://support.mozilla.org/es/questions/971386

Hope it helps.

Getting rid of the rapidmoviez cookies seems to have fixed it - thanks again!

My Firefox does that on occasion. A restart of the program always fixes it for me. It seems to happen after I visit complicated/busy sites like Facebook and such. Something overwhelms the browser. But yeah, a restart takes care of it. C:

It's so weird. It's never given me that error before. Now, having FB and tumblr and such open at once can make it lock up (and too many tabs) but not this.

Getting rid of the rapidmoviez cookies seems to have done the job.

Cookies, huh? That makes sense. I'll give it a try, next time I encounter that error. I'm sure it will be soon.

Glad you've solved the problem!! Hope it works for me, too. C:
