I kind of feel this way sometimes too. After interacting with some people on Tumblr who are the definition of human scum, I'd rather just not be too involved with fandom anymore. I still write the occasional fic, but that's about it.

I can't blame Tumblr entirely for my waning interest in fandom, but, yeah it's not a place for discussion of any level--I mean, even the platform itself isn't set up to foster that.

I'm like you, anon. I write the rare fic and stay low. It's almost like...not being in fandom at all. I miss people to squee and chat and create with.
