That really sucks, OP. I received several death threats (the person was going to run me over in her car) for leaving mild con-crit after being asked to do so. Even though I knew she was in a different country to me and didn't know my real identity, it was quite disturbing. Especially as I ride my bicycle everywhere and it made me jumpy every time a car came up behind me. It definitely worsened my depression for a while, but I did get over it.
