Re: Hurting/Aching Teeth Anon

If you want something really comfortable and you have dental coverage, talk to your dentist. They can make you a custom one that is fitted to your teeth. I have one of those. Although I've had it now for many years and it's finally starting to crack a bit in the back from all the crunching I do on it. But other than that it's been well worth it. My housemate has one of the cheap store-bought ones and comparing his to mine I'm very glad I got the one I got. (But also for me it's because I wear orthodontic retainers to sleep and I didn't want to forego my retainer to wear a mouth guard instead, and this thing also somewhat acts like a retainer.)

You can buy cheap Wal-Mart varieties that still fit to your mouth. That's the kind I use. Anon, I would highly recommend getting one you can boil and fit to your teeth if you don't already have one.
