(Anonymous) 2014-07-14 05:32 am (UTC)(link)Personally, I think that just because the comics page didn't use the word "pimp" doesn't mean that we can't read the visual iconography in the relevant panels. Either way, it was about retconning an idealistic social worker into a small-time crook because that the writer felt that was more realistic for a black guy.
